Installing AulaWiki "by hand"

Hi everyone, my name is Ben, and yes, i am still a newbie razz I work with Rober and Aldo in the development of Aulawiki. My question is: how can I install it "by hand"? I know the principles: download aulawiki and unpack the content in the mods dir. But i noticed that there are some sql commands I should run first. Tell me if there's something else I should do or is everything all right with downloading & unpacking in mods dir.

Thanks in advance ;)
Ben

Hi Ben, and welcome also to edu.tw.o:

Good question. You can manually run the sql statements needed to install aulawiki by grabbing them from the file ./Packages/features-aulawiki.info.txt (included in aulawiki tar.gz) and running them through phpmyadmihn, for instance.

Does this information help?

Thanks for helping to improve aulawiki, btw

hi again, i got problems again with installing aulawiki "by hand". My problem is the following: First, i tried to install using admin mods (i'm using TikiWiki 1.9.11) but it doesn't show the list with all mods. So i tried to install the package and features dir (from features-aulawiki-1.5.tar.gz) in mods dir; then i run the sql statements. everything seems ok, but... i can't see the workspace modules! Please tell me if i must do anything else. Maybe it's something related with the 00_list.txt or with tiki_index.php.
By the way (i know this is not the right place to ask it), how can i install wysiwig in TikiWiki 1.9.11? i have been searching for it but i didn't found it.

Thanks in forward!
Ben

Check that permissions on the files from the mod are ok in your server (try if 777 helps).

I don't think so.

I'm afraid you can't for wiki pages, it's only there for blogs, afaik. Read Wysiwyg editor pages on doc.tw.o for more info.
