Hi guys!
The last days, my workmate MangaPowerX? (BenjamÃn) and I were studying the code of aulawiki 1.6
So I want to say that two weeks ago we were planning to install TikiWiki 1.9 with aulawiki 1.6, but the main problem was that one (or two I don't remember exactly) SQL queries didn't match with the tables created in TikiWiki 1.9.
Later, talking here with Xavier we learned that aulawiki 1.6 it's an effort to work in TikiWiki 2.X branches so it's isn't fully compatible with tiki 1.9.
My first question: is there any possibilities that aulawiki 1.5 could be downloaded again from mods.tikiwiki.org? This ,I think, could fix the problems that all people have with installing directly aulawiki in TikiWiki 1.9, and of course, let 1.6 in mods.tikiwiki.org for 2.X branches.
One suggestion I have is: We will be the next contributors to the code of AulaWiki, so we think that the number version of AW must to change to make more clear in which versions of TikiWiki runs ok and which not.
One proposition of the new number versioning system is rename the 1.5 to 1.9.X (for example) where 1.9 belongs to the version of TikiWiki that can fully work without any problems and the X number will be odd for stable relases and even for unstable releases.
Another example is rename 1.6 to 2.0.X, as we can observe 2.0 refers to TikiWiki 2.0 main branch, and again X for the stable or unstable releases. And so on.
Well I think that I say all I have :D, so I'll stay here waiting for your responses!
Upload AulaWiki 1.5 to mods.tikiwiki.org again
